I don’t know if you have seen the crazy video about the new Patti Labelle pies but it is everywhere.
I finally saw it yesterday and although it was a bit graphic for my taste, several lessons could be gleaned from the “Patti video”.
1. The Power of Video- Many messages can be conveyed through the use of video. It is so much easier now-a-days. Just pick up your smart phone and start talking. Easy peasy!
2. The Power of Social Media- We all understand that mediums like Facebook, Twitter, and others can cause a new product to sky rocket. It just needs to get into the right hands. Well what is amazing about this video is that this guy seems to have come out of nowhere. One video has been viewed, liked, and shared millions of times.
3. The Power of Entertainment- People want to be entertained. Always remember this while you are marketing. If you can keep it light and fun go for it. Fun and funny sells!
