I am in a great company and I am sure you may be doing something you love as well. If so, congratulations!
The challenge can be that you are not consistently making any money. When that happens the fun can end real quick. (very quickly) (*proper English*)
To make sure that you are making money consistently, you need to make sure that you plan your success. Many people don’t realize the importance of planning but for me, it really helps me to meet my goals.
I can’t control results but I can control my activity and because my activity is consistent, my check consistently grows. Listed below are some of the things that I do in my business to make sure that I continue to win in my company.
1. I write my goals down every single week. We all know that writing dwon our goal is important but how many of us really do it? Unfortunately, not many. Most people talk a good game but never really do anything to make their dreams come true.
2. I make sure I am on autoship. (Credit cards expire so I make sure I’m good.) In my company we have a small autoship that allows us to have a free website to sell our products on. Because I order any sales that come through that site entitle me to a very generous commission.
I mention this to make a point that I take responsibility for my success. If my credit card has expired that would be my fault if I did not make sure the updated information was provided to the company. Since I advertise all over the internet, I would not want to risk missing a sale because my site was down.
3. I make sure I am Binary Qualified. (People quit so I make sure I’m good even if they quit.) Now in my company we have a Binary pay plan. The plan allows us to accumulate volume from a previous weeks sales if we remain binary qualified. I have seen people lose thousands of points which mean money because they were not Binary qualified. I know people quit so I am always sponsoring someone to make sure that my requirement is met weekly so that I can continue to build a solid business. My check is no one’s responsibility but mine so I inspect what I expect.
4. I make sales every single week. (Somebody is buying something.) I am in direct sales so I make sure my store is open. Whether someone wants to buy one of my incredible weightloss products or they want to partner with me to start their own home based business I make sure that I give them that opportunity.
Now I do most of my marketing online but I realize that have an offline marketing strategy can help me meet my weekly sales goal as well. A week will not end without me selling something to somebody. That is non-negotiable.
5. I advertise consistently somewhere everyday. (I mix it up but I am out there.) Social media has been the key to my business growth. I advertise on Instagram, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, and anywhere else I feel I need to be to expand my business. The key is I am consistent.
6. I help those that allow me to help them do the same. (It’s no fun pulling people so I don’t do it. I work with the willing. I love that!) I learned a long time ago, you can’t force people to succeed. Some people are much more comfortable with their excuses than their pursuit for better. So… I move on and work with the willing.
7. I work on me so that I can expand my capacity to receive more. (Personal Development keep me going. Listening while on the treadmill helps me save time while taking care of my body.)
Personal Development should never be under estimated. You can’t continue to pour into others if no one is pouring into you. You will burn out very quickly. Frustration will kick in and you will be tempted to quit on your dreams. Having a regular diet of personal development can help you to alleviate this very common problem with entrepreneurs.
8. I am always learning. Always! It keeps me excited, motivated and hopeful. (While I can’t be on everything the company offers, I choose at least one training call per week to listen to help me stay on top of my game.)
